For over 40 years the classic southern rock band formed in Jacksonville, Florida has created music that has captured the imagination of their listeners. names one of Rolling Stone's most influential rock banks, the Allman Brothers band is known for their unbelievable live performances and great instrumental jams. The band, a creation of Greg Allman and Duane Allman in 1969, has been thrilling concert goers ever since. Joined by legendary guitarist Dicky Betts, this band helped to develop the southern rock sound.

Tragically, Duane Allman died in 1971 in a motorcycle accident shortly after their famous Live at Fillmore East performance. Today, the Allman Brothers continue to tour and play some of the music that made them famous. Several key albums are featured on the MFSL platform including "Live at Fillmore East" and "Eat a Peach".
