Mobile Fidelity Sound Labs (MFSL) began as a company in 1977 producing some of the first master recordings for the true audiophile.

• What is an Audiophile?
  A person that listens to the highest quality recordings available.

Starting with high quality vinyl LP from rock and roll legends like the Beatles and the Rolling Stones and eventually transitioning into the gold ultradisk (UDCD), MFSL has remained a innovator in the audiophile frontier.  As the technologyhas gotten better, MFSL has improved the quality of their recordings as well offering the new and innovative SACD (Super Audio Compact Disk) format for the true music officianato.

• What makes the MFSL plaform superior to other recordings?
  Quite simply it is the recordings themselves that make the sound quality better.

By starting with the original master from the sound studio, MFSL is able to produce a sound quality that is as close to the orginal recording as possible.  The recordings allowed the sound studio to capture the true sound without sound deteriation or defects.  With the UDCD format the gold substrate allowed for a better surface for recording that captured some of those timeless greats from the 1970's and the 1980's.  These timeless classics are the tunes that changed a generation of music listeners and pioneered new frontiers for the music that we now hear today.
