Beatles Sgt Peppers lonely hearts club band perfect on a MFSL LP
The Beatles have earned their rightful place in history as one of the most popular bands the world has ever known. Their long hair, along with their great music and vocal harmonies started a revolution of new and popular music in the 1960's that will be cherished be people of every generation. Today their music continues to entertain and enlighten young people and older people alike. The Beatles actually did take the world by storm with their looks, lyrics, voices and musical talents. The Beatles album, Sgt. Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band album was a complete success around the world and is still very popular today. The album recording itself started on December 6, 1966 and was completed on the April 21st, 1967 by EMI and Regent Sounds studios in London, England. The album was released in June of 1967 to the entire world and was a huge success to literally every country on earth. The entire project took 129 days of studio recording time to complete. The Sgt. Pepper Lonely Hearts Club Band album was the Beatles 8th recorded album and it included the additional talents of different orchestra's, hired musicians and special production techniques.
It's music tracks includes jazz, rock, western and Indian style music and covers a wide range of topics from childhood, old age, growing up and life in the 1960's. The music in the album depicts the Beatles as the fictitious Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Heart Club Band. That fictitious band is given credit for performing all the popular music on the album. The Album cover itself is another famous part of music history as it contains several of the world's famous known people on its cover. Marilyn Monroe as well as comedians Laurel and Hardy and Gandi's likenesses were put on the cover front. The Beatles chose those whom they admired for the Sgt. Peppers Lonely Hearts Club album cover. A few of the famous people's pictures were removed to accommodate different countries likes and dislikes. Three of the songs were removed depending on what country the album was being sold in and were replaced by a few older Beatles songs, due to the fear that some songs lyrics may have been thought as drug related.
The Album stayed at #1 in the United Kingdom's album chart for 27 weeks and stayed at the top of the album charts in the United States for 15 weeks. This amazing album also won four Grammy awards in 1968. Sgt. Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band album was ranked #1 in Rolling Stones Magazine in 2003 as greatest 500 albums of all time.
