The Who MFSL
The Who is one of the legendary English rock n roll bands created in the mid 1960's. Known for both power and diversity in their play, the Who is a natural fit for MFSL. Known for their powerful live performances and innovative songwrititng; the Who have immortalized themselves in rock and roll history.
Prior to being called the Who, Townshend and Entwhistle were in a group called the Detours. The addition of Roger Daltry and Keith Moon completed the group that will forever be named the Who. This band is responsible for some of the rock anthems that are featured on radio and television today. When the Who released Tommy they broke the mold for rock recordings and with their early power recordings they quickly became known as one of the greatest rock bands. The release of Who's Next becuase the bands most celebrated recording featuring Teenage Wasteland, Wont Get Fooled Again and Behind Blue Eyes.
The Who are featured on many MFSL CDs including Tommy, Live at Leeds, Quadrophenia and Who's Next.
Tommy MFSL
The first full recording on MFSL by the Who is Tommy. This helped put both Mobile Fidelity over the top as a legitimate recording studio. The ability to feature the wide array of musical talent makes this recording a rock masterpiece. Deemed by Townshend as a Rock Opera, Tommy features some of the bands greatest hits including Pinball Wizard.

Quadrophenia MFSL
In my personal opinion the greatist of all the Who albums. While it does not contain the hits that Who's Next contains, it certainly makes up for in depth of songs and emotion. Love Reign O'er Me is a timeless song that truely demonstrates the genius of Pete Townshend. Other songs like Bell Boy and 5:15 show the raw rock and roll power of the supergroup. The original master recording from the Who on MFSL helps to hear the depth of the song like the tidal waves on Sea and Sand.

If you want rock anthem super hits, Who's next is the album that packs a punch. Top to bottom this recording has some of the biggest hits in the history of Rock and Roll.
