Nirvana Nevermind MFSL – The CD that changed it all!
If you grew up in the 1980s like I did the CD Nirvana Nevermind (MFSL) change the way you listen to music forever. When I was a child in the 1980s the bands I listen to the classic big hair bands such as Cinderella, Poison, Ratt and Bon Jovi.. Their concerts were filled with big hair loud music and simply were a lot of fun. Then came Nevermind from Nirvana which altered the way the rock 'n roll world listens to music. I remember first hearing smells like teen spirit in my car and thinking "what the hell is this"and thinking that it had no chance to be a big hit.
Wow was I wrong about that, Nirvana changed how music was listen to in the 90s. It altered in an entirely new type of music known as the grunge scene. Personally I was not a very big fan of the music ass eyes still hunted to listen to the big hair bands of the 80s and the hard rock bands of the 1970s. However the bands like Soundgarden and Stone Temple pilots launched massive careers based on the initial music Nirvana.

One of the things that have come to appreciate about the music later is that it was not afraid to challenge the stereotypes of the music industry. Much like the Beatles did in the 60s, Led Zeppelin did in the 1970s, and bands like Van Halen and U2 did in 1980s, Nirvana created a platform for music to move forward. It seems to me that the music industry is missing the next Nirvana. The industry is waiting for another monumental moment to break through and change the way we listen to music again. Too much of the music today is generated using synthesizers and high tech digital equipment to cover up inadequacies in both the lyrics and the voices.
I hope that soon we can see another revolution in the music industry and bring back some of the fundamentals that make music great. Those files include great songs, great voices, and great musicians playing those songs. What was your opinion of nevermind was first released?
